Pop Ludo ("we", "our", "us") is a mobile Ludo board game. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

1. Data We Collect

Account data: When you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account name and email address. We use this solely to create and authenticate your Pop Ludo account.

Game data: We store your game progress, statistics (wins, losses, level, XP), coin balance, equipped cosmetics, campaign progress, and leaderboard entries on our servers.

Device data: We collect a device identifier for push notifications and to prevent multi-device abuse. We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, or any other device data.

Purchase data: If you make in-app purchases, transaction records are processed by Google Play / Apple App Store. We store a record of what you purchased but never see your payment details (credit card, billing address, etc.).

2. How We Use Your Data

To provide and maintain the game experience (saving progress, matchmaking, leaderboards)
To authenticate your identity and prevent fraud
To send push notifications (game events, turn reminders) — you can disable these in your device settings
To display rewarded ads via Google AdMob (see Section 5)

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secured servers. We use HTTPS for all communications, JWT-based authentication, and follow industry-standard security practices. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile > Settings > Delete Account. Deletion is irreversible and removes all game progress, coins, cosmetics, campaign progress, leaderboard entries, and personal information from our servers.

5. Advertising

Pop Ludo uses Google AdMob to display rewarded video ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device's ad settings. We do not show interstitial or banner ads — only rewarded ads that you choose to watch.

6. Children's Privacy

Pop Ludo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Google Sign-In — for authentication
Google AdMob — for rewarded video ads
Google Play / Apple App Store — for in-app purchases
Firebase Cloud Messaging — for push notifications

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your data (viewable in your Profile screen)
Delete your account and all data (Profile > Settings > Delete Account)
Opt out of push notifications (via device settings)
Opt out of personalized ads (via device ad settings)

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by updating the date at the top of this page.
